Campus Ministry
One of Beacon City Church's three main mission fields is the college campus. Our fellowship organization, Every Nation Campus Ministries, has officially campus ministries serving Boston University, MIT, Brandeis, and Wellesley. Students from Berklee, Harvard, and other campuses are represented in our Sunday congregation, and are all included in our CITYWIDE! campus meetings at 5 Magazine Street in Central Square once a month on Friday evenings.
Young Couples Ministry
Food, Fellowship and
Fun. To gather the growing group of newlyweds and
newlyweds at heart, the young couples discussion group meets the 1st
and 3rd Thursdays for a time of Bible study and informal discussion of
marriage-related topics. Our vision is to build godly
foundations for
the coming generations and to provide a date-type environment to
connect young couples together. Contact Robert and Amy Lee
for details and directions.
Mom's Night Out is a monthly outing for Moms to gather and minister to one another. Fellowship, prayer, and advice is available in a friendly, low-key atmosphere. Occasionally, a book may be discussed or specific topics raised to guide Moms through the challenging but joyful stages of raising a family. Meetings are currently held on one Thursday a month at Panera, Burlington. Please contact the coordinator to receive announcements.
The women of Beacon City Boston gather monthly on Saturday mornings to hear edifying teachings, worship, and fellowship with one another. Occasionally, a luncheon or other celebratory event is planned simply to honor God and his work in our lives. During the summer, the women's ministry switches to offer a bible study with individual devotional books and a weekly video session (corporate). Attendance is encouraged for church women of all ages and their friends. Please contact the coordinator for more information.
We do not believe in simply "baby-sitting" children during Sunday services. Instead, we divide the children into age groups and teach age-appropriate material that corresponds to the biblical teaching the adults are receiving. The excellent curriculum we use includes teachings, activities, Scripture memory, and other tools to help children internalize the Word, grow in the Spirit, and spread God's love to others. Exceptions belong to the nursery, where capable helpers aid infants and nursing mothers with toys, music, and supervised activity.
